Pro požadavky, které má systém zpracovat, je vyžadován API klíč. Jakmile se uživatel zaregistruje, je pro tohoto uživatele automaticky vygenerován klíč API. Klíč API musí být zaslán s každým požadavkem (viz úplný příklad níže). Pokud klíč API není odeslán nebo jeho platnost vypršela, dojde k chybě. Ujistěte se, že váš klíč API je v tajnosti, abyste zabránili zneužití.

Všechny odpovědi API jsou standardně vráceny ve formátu JSON. K převodu na použitelná data bude potřeba použít příslušnou funkci podle jazyka. V PHP lze funkci json_decode() použít k převodu dat buď na objekt (výchozí) nebo pole (nastavte druhý parametr na true). Je velmi důležité zkontrolovat chybový klíč, protože poskytuje informace o tom, zda došlo k chybě nebo ne. Můžete také zkontrolovat kód záhlaví.
